Being a team player and having an ability to interact effectively with client's organization and others disciplines in our taskforce is essential.
Processengineers take overall responsibility for the process and process control functionality for projects in the oil, gas and (petro-) chemical industry, renewable energy solutions, life science and advanced manufacturing.
They work within a task force for the realization of multi-discipline projects in close cooperation with vendors and clients to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate must be able to perform engineering in all project phases of process design including feasibility studies, conceptual design, front-end design, detail engineering process design and plant commissioning.
Work activities may include e.g.
process studies, including process simulations, preparing heat and material balances, developing PFD's and P&ID's, preparing equipment data sheets, instrumentation data sheets, equipment lists, line lists and participating in and leading a variety of design reviews like HAZOP's and SIL classifications..
For the function seniorprocessengineer, the ability to supervise and act as mentor for a group of junior and intermediate level processengineers and the development of future talent through coaching and training is very important.
She/he must be able to prepare/maintain/review schedules, develop/monitor/review estimates and manpower forecasts for processengineering activities and distribute and assign work to other Processengineers.
She/he must be able to build and maintain client relationships in order to support the business development in the Rotterdam area as the successful candidate will be working closely with many client representatives throughout the whole client organization.
Basic Job Requirements .
Msc or Bsc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent .
10+ years of processengineering experience in the petroleum or (petro-) chemical industry To be Considered Candidates:
