Collaborate with Packaging suppliers on development, innovation, and quality.
Align with Logistics on packaging standards and requirements.
Guide Product Management and MSUs on packaging formats and sustainability.
Coordinate with Quality and R&D on standards and testing.
Collaborate with Global Engineering and site engineers on packaging standards and capabilities.
Partner with Sustainability to ensure compliance and sustainability requirements are met.
You will work in an international, dynamic and multicultural environment and will be based in our Headquarters in Amsterdam.
You will have ca.
5 direct reports but the overall team you will be working in exists of ca.
30 people.
Next to that you will work with different cross functional teams.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a packaging strategy in alignment with business goals and market demands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain, R&D, and suppliers to define packaging standards, requirements, and specifications.
Ensure end-to-end packaging quality meets specifications and test protocols.
Address quality issues promptly to minimize customer impact.
Ensure packaging portfolio meets sustainability standards and compliance regulations.
Drive cost savings and productivity improvements Manage and maintain master data to meet reporting requirements.
Develop and lead a high-performing team to support business objectives.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure consistent quality.
What do you need to have to be successful in this role? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of packaging experience in FMCG or related industries.
Experience managing a diverse packaging portfolio.
Strong understanding of sustainability and compliance regulations.
Proven ability to develop and execute packaging strategies.
Excellent people management and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in English.
